What is a search engine

The 3 engines i found were Google, yahoo, and Aol. The first website in the first search was music.yahoo.com the second website was www. maroon5.com, the third website was www.spiralfrog.com. There different because some of them are more direct then others. They are the same because they all talk about the same band. There all the same because the first website they all show is there own website. They are all different because they all talk about different subjects about there life. The Wikipedia is like a search engine. the sites are the same because they all start with wikipedia.org and they basically take me to the same websites. They are different because they were all searched in different search engines.
